It’s rare to find a modern café perched on a hill in rural Japan—but today we did.

Tucked high above the city of Mitoyo, with wide open patios and a view that makes you forget whatever you were talking about.

Clearly, we weren’t the only ones who knew.

A bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts rolled in just after us—helmets off, engines cooling, eyes locked on the same breathtaking view and the promise of something tasty.
