Let’s just say, Genkai Quasi-National Park did not come to play. We walked up to the cliffs thinking, “Nice little stroll, get a view, take a photo.” What we got? Epic rock formations that looked like dragon scales, angry sea waves crashing below, and wind strong enough to restyle our hair—without permission.

From up top, the rocks looked like a scene out of a fantasy movie—part Godzilla’s spine, part snake skin, all dramatic. We kept saying “wow” and then laughing because every five steps was another “wow.” Nature was clearly showing off.

The trail itself was peaceful and stunning, if you don’t count us being mildly blown sideways every time a gust came through. But with every step, we couldn’t help but feel like we were walking through a live-action nature documentary—with ourselves as the slightly underprepared hikers in windbreakers.

Unforgettable? Absolutely. Glamorous? Not quite. Hilarious, powerful, and totally worth it? 100%.
